Firewatch Laborer

As a Firewatch/Holewatch Laborer with Brown & Root Industrial Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our project sites. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate potential hazards
• Operate small hand and power tools, including decontamination of equipment
• May be required to operate road and off-road haul and water trucks
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Perform firewatch duties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license with a driving record within company-established parameters
• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and applicable 8-hour refresher training
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field
