As a Firewatch/Holewatch Laborer with Brown & Root Industrial Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our project sites. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate potential hazards
- Operate small hand and power tools, including decontamination of equipment
- May be required to operate road and off-road haul and water trucks
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Perform firewatch duties
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license with a driving record within company-established parameters
- Be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and applicable 8-hour refresher training
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field
