Position Overview: The Certified Behavioral Analyst (CBA) is tasked with designing, implementing, and overseeing behavioral support services tailored to the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral challenges, employing the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Key responsibilities encompass the creation and supervision of formal behavior management strategies, conducting functional behavioral evaluations, and collecting relevant data. The CBA also works collaboratively with caregivers, educators, and other service providers, while offering training and direct assistance to Behavioral Health Technicians.

Work Schedule: Opportunities for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute clinical service delivery objectives in alignment with the agency's overarching goals and policies
  • Provide timely and comprehensive reports to direct supervisors and other administrative personnel as necessary
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
  • Complete 16 hours of training approved by the Department of Human Services annually
  • Submit all required documentation regarding qualifications, licenses, certifications, and training to Human Resources promptly
  • Deliver clinical services in accordance with program descriptions and best practice standards, ensuring compliance with licensure requirements
  • Gather outcome data for all clients during service re-authorization periods
  • Maintain high-quality documentation of clinical ABA service delivery
  • Foster professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support representatives
  • Ensure all authorized client services are provided and maintain supporting documentation for re-authorizations as needed
  • Submit accurate payroll and billing documentation in a timely manner
  • Conduct assessments for all new clients on the caseload
  • Oversee the development and implementation of behavior management strategies
  • Provide crisis assessment and behavioral stabilization services as required
  • Offer case consultation to Behavioral Health Technicians on shared cases and to other staff as needed
  • Deliver clinical consultation to parents, family members, educators, and other caregivers regarding prescribed behavioral interventions
  • Complete precise clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
  • Participate in monthly individual supervision sessions and relevant program staff meetings
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional behavioral assessment principles and implementation
  • Encourage safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to enhance communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with families and treatment teams to ensure effective treatment delivery
  • Promote the frequency and duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to known reinforcers
Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience/Licensure (Must Meet One of the Following Criteria):
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, with BC-ABA certification
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, with at least 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 college credits
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, with at least 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist with at least 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; verification of non-inclusion on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
