We are seeking an experienced and skilled healthcare professional to lead our Nursing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring compliance with Company policies and governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Nursing Department Operations: Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department, including planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing services department and its programs and activities.
- Interdisciplinary Planning: Assist with the development and approval of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with the physician, Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants.
- Record Keeping: Confirm accurate completion of forms/reports for the admission, transfer, and/or discharge of each resident, including the nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Care Plan, and the Annual MDS.
- Staff Development: Support and train nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to residents.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum five years' experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting.
- Minimum two years management/supervisory experience.
- Active CPR certification.
