Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team in the finance industry. This unique position combines the healthcare and finance sectors, providing a stimulating and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assistance by performing routine tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients for examinations, administering medication under the direction of a physician, and maintaining patient records.
  • Assist in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating patient referrals.
  • Support the finance team by maintaining and updating financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with budget preparation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to understand healthcare costs and contribute to financial planning and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge on best practices in both the healthcare and finance industries.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management, including financial reports and health outcomes data.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a solid understanding of clinical tasks including taking vitals and administering medication.
  • Experience in a finance role or a strong interest in finance. Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and finance team members.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software and financial systems.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development in both healthcare and finance.
