Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterologist
An established gastroenterology practice in Ohio is expanding, creating a fantastic opportunity for a skilled gastroenterologist. This position offers a balanced schedule with a 4.5-day workweek, as the clinic operates only on Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm. The call rotation is 1:3, with approximately 10 nights per month, including one weekend.
The incoming physician can anticipate performing between 8 to 15 procedures daily in the endoscopy suite and managing around 20 patients per day in the clinic. You will collaborate with another full-time gastroenterologist and two nurse practitioners, supported by a dedicated team including a service line manager, two LPNs, and three medical office assistants.
Compensation and Benefits
This hospital-employed position offers a competitive salary structure based on 2 wRVU options. Additional benefits include a generous sign-on bonus, comprehensive malpractice coverage, medical insurance, life insurance/disability, and 29 days of PTO to start. You will also receive 5 days of CME with a stipend, potential fellowship stipend, a 403(b) retirement plan, and relocation assistance.
Moreover, the practice provides $25K annually in student loan repayment, up to a total of $200K.
