Penske Racing South is seeking a skilled Wiring Specialist to join our team. This position will play a vital role in the design, building, repairing, and maintenance of motorsport looms and harnesses.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in top-level professional motorsports as an electrical technician, preferably with F1, IndyCar, IMSA, WEC, or Formula E experience. Experience designing, building, repairing, and maintaining motorsports looms and harnesses is required.

This position offers an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include participation in the Porsche Penske Motorsport Workout Program and international travel with the team to races and tests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, repairing, and maintaining motorsport looms and harnesses
  • Managing, programming, and maintaining radios
  • Working in conjunction with the parts department to produce orders for outside vendors
  • Maintaining inventory of looms and sensors with the systems engineers
