Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and physically fit individual to fill the role of Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Worker. This is a critical position that requires attention to detail and ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in general construction trades and be able to read, write and communicate effectively. A valid PA driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery are also required.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain the grounds including lawn mowing, trimming of trees and shrubbery, landscaping and tree replacement, installation and plantings.
  • Remove snow from roads, walks, parking lots, animal areas and vehicles.
  • Keep facilities clean and presentable.
  • Order replacement parts and equipment with management approval.
  • Inspect completed repairs.
  • Inventory equipment, parts and supplies.
  • Identify and correct unsafe working conditions with management oversight.
  • Check functionality of safety systems such as alarms, lighting, and generators.
  • Attend training programs as designated.
