Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UC Davis Health System. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of x-ray equipment, Dexa equipment, and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for diagnostic interpretations by a radiologist.
  • Provide technical knowledge and/or coordinates and monitors the delivery of radiological services for adult and pediatric outpatients.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and peers to achieve maximum effectiveness.
  • Perform duties in the Main Hospital, Ambulatory Care Center, Same Day Surgery Center, and/or satellite facilities throughout UCD's Primary Clinic Network.
Requirements
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification.
  • CA Fluoroscopic permit (within 6 months of hire date).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Certification.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate imaging equipment to provide quality images.
  • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT certification.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work variable hours, alternate shifts, and occasional overtime to provide coverage as needed for sick leave, staffing shortages, etc. Must be able to provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage per departmental staffing guidelines.
