Role Overview

As a Youth Development Professional at Steve & Kate's Camp, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate activities that promote creativity, self-expression, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging activity plans that cater to diverse interests and abilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized activity space, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for campers
  • Supervise and guide campers during activities, providing support and guidance when needed
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure seamless operation of the program
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 months' experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting
  • First Aid & CPR certification prior to the start of the program
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs and maintain a high level of energy throughout the day
