We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Stat Home Health. As a Home Health Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of mental health services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise patient care and coordinate all aspects of patient care, including initiating and updating the plan of care.
  • Complete all documents timely, including Oasis, 485, and order submission.
  • Supervise, orient, and teach other clinical personnel when needed.
  • Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including problem resolution and complaint investigation.
Requirements:
  • Current Louisiana RN license and CPR certification required.
  • RN with a master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing, or RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing with one year of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic.
  • Compassionate Psychiatric RN with great time management skills.
  • Professional knowledge and experience indicating an adequate understanding of diagnoses and treatments of mental disorders and medication side effects/effects.
  • Previous Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
