Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Targa Real Estate Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including breezeways, public spaces, and clubhouses
  • Perform daily walks of the property to ensure all areas are kept neat and orderly
  • Report any maintenance needs to the Property Manager for delegation to maintenance staff or vendors
  • Assist with unit turns and make-readies, including cleaning appliances and fixtures
  • Collect and discard trash, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Prior cleaning experience required, preferably in apartments, hotels, commercial spaces, residential units, or condominiums
  • Experience with carpet cleaners or buffers highly desired
  • Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and follow proper handling procedures
Working Conditions

This is a part-time or full-time position, and the FLSA status is non-exempt. The successful candidate will be required to wear gloves and masks when using harsh chemicals, and will be expected to follow safe handling practices at all times.
