About the Role

WRH Realty Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Monitor turns, vacant units, and move-outs to ensure our properties are well-maintained and present a good curb appeal.
  • Work Order Completion: Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance to prevent building systems and physical condition from deteriorating.
  • Trash and Recycling: Perform routine trash pick-up daily and ensure that trash and recycling areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Record Keeping: Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work needed to ensure accurate tracking and budgeting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check irrigation systems on a regular basis and perform trash compactor and pool maintenance during season.
  • Appliance Repair: Diagnose and repair appliances, as well as perform basic electrical work.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24-hour emergency services to our residents.
Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Must meet all physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying weights exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Qualification Test: Must attain a minimum of 70% or greater on the Maintenance Technician Qualification Test.
  • Experience: Must have 2 years' experience in property maintenance or equivalent field.
  • Certifications: EPA certification Type II or Greater is required.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, pool systems, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC is required.
  • Availability: Must be available for on-call emergencies and weekend work, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
