POSITION SUMMARY:

Conducts quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes images as required. Prepares the CT room, equipment, supplies, and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. Adheres to proper radiation safety protocols on all exams and ensures that all direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. Maintains a safe environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors. Supports and contributes to achieving departmental and hospital goals. Provides services to all age groups (infant to geriatric).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education/Skills

Technical degree or vocational training

B. Experience

Preferably at least 1 year of CT experience

C. Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications

· MRT

· BLS obtained from an HCA approved vendor.

· ARRT (CT) preferred.
