Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at US01 AllCare Plus Pharmacy, Inc. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our pharmacy services and performing all legally required responsibilities of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance to dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patients
  • Review prescriptions issued by valid prescribing health care providers to assure accuracy and clinical appropriateness of order
  • Direct pharmacy employees engaged in the data entry, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
  • Answer questions and provide information to patients, caregivers, and providers on drug use, interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals
  • Oversee the pharmacy technicians and workflow; intervene and follow protocol when necessary to correct information
  • Participate in all aspects of pharmacy workflow to ensure timely preparation of orders
  • Maintain established policies and procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of quarantined and hazardous waste drugs
  • Oversee and assist with pharmacy license renewals
  • Manage and oversee inventory and ordering of drug stock
  • Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength
  • Maintain drug storage requirements for product integrity
  • Instruct interns and other personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations to include all states of licensure and other Federal laws
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Pharmacy or a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm D) from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Preferred Qualifications: Three years of practicing pharmacy experience, experience in Specialty Pharmacy, experience in patient management, strong communication skills, and professional written and communication skills

The potential base pay range for this role is $100,000-$115,000 annually, and the actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications, location, and/or schedule.
