We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at US01 AllCare Plus Pharmacy, Inc. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our pharmacy services and performing all legally required responsibilities of a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality assurance to dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patients
- Review prescriptions issued by valid prescribing health care providers to assure accuracy and clinical appropriateness of order
- Direct pharmacy employees engaged in the data entry, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Answer questions and provide information to patients, caregivers, and providers on drug use, interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals
- Oversee the pharmacy technicians and workflow; intervene and follow protocol when necessary to correct information
- Participate in all aspects of pharmacy workflow to ensure timely preparation of orders
- Maintain established policies and procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of quarantined and hazardous waste drugs
- Oversee and assist with pharmacy license renewals
- Manage and oversee inventory and ordering of drug stock
- Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength
- Maintain drug storage requirements for product integrity
- Instruct interns and other personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations to include all states of licensure and other Federal laws
- Bachelor's in Pharmacy or a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm D) from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Preferred Qualifications: Three years of practicing pharmacy experience, experience in Specialty Pharmacy, experience in patient management, strong communication skills, and professional written and communication skills
- Business Skills and Knowledge: General Management, Organizational dynamics and governance, Information management, Risk management, and Quality improvement
- Knowledge of the Health Care Environment: Health Care Systems and Organizations, Health Care Personnel, and The Patient's Perspective
- Communication and Relationship Management: Relationship Management and Communication Skills
- Professionalism: Personal and Professional Accountability, Professional Development and Lifelong Learning

The potential base pay range for this role is $100,000-$115,000 annually, and the actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications, location, and/or schedule. Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
