Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team in Mason City, Iowa.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical operations in a hospital or outpatient surgery center setting. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and nurses with surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room, surgical tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other necessary preparations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment during surgery.
- Participate in post-operative care and cleaning of the operating room.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience.
- Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
- BLS Certification.
- Trauma Experience preferred, not required.
- Travel experience preferred, not required.
