About the Role
This position is designed for a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who will work closely with a team of psychiatrists to deliver psychiatric evaluations and manage psychotropic medications for children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both initial assessments and ongoing care, ensuring a holistic and coordinated approach to mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotropic medication management and recommend non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Advanced Practice RN/Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Montana.
  • Current prescriptive authority and a valid Montana Driver's License.
  • Preferred experience of at least two years in pediatric psychiatric care.
