About the Role

The United Health Services Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services and coverage for local colleges, high schools, and sporting events. This position is responsible for assisting and collaborating with the Sports Medicine Team in various functions to create an exceptional experience while delivering comprehensive care to our athletic community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services and coverage for local colleges, high schools, and sporting events
  • Assist and collaborate with the Sports Medicine Team in various functions
  • Deliver comprehensive care to our athletic community

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Master of Science degree at an institution with National Athletic Training Association approved curriculum
  • Experience as an ATC (Certified Athletic Trainer) in a college or high school setting
  • National certification through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC)
  • Licensed or license-eligible by New York State
  • CPR certification within the first three months of employment
