We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures, applying ionizing radiation, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enteroclysis, sialograms, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy, J-tube placements or injections, t-tube cholangiogram, major trauma/trauma bay, neo-natal ICU, pacing lab, and other critical care procedures.
- Demonstrate competency in troubleshooting equipment problems, obtaining nursing assessments, and making appropriate judgments for patient care.
- Quality check images, document additional information in PACS or EPIC, and ensure proper care and use of equipment and materials.
- Promote patient care and safety, work with staff technologists to ensure smooth workflow, and maintain good employee, physician, and supervisor relationships.
- Certification in an accredited radiology program.
- ARRT Registered, SCSQRSA License, and CPR certification.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills, basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, and proficiency in PACS and EMR systems.
This position is located at the Greer Medical Campus, 1004 Greer Memorial Hospital, and is part of the Radiology department at Prisma Health.
