Job Title: Caregiver LeadWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver Lead to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and service delivery to our residents.
About the Role:- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional care and customer service.
- Provide supervisory support to care staff, including attendance management, shift coverage, and training.
- Support care staff in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, aligning with individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Assist with meal service and coach care staff on hospitality standards during meal times.
- Audit and document care and services provided to residents, identifying gaps in documentation and coaching care staff as needed.
- Take attendance at the beginning of every shift and manage call-offs/no shows.
- Manage shift requests and respond to open shifts.
- Support care staff in ADL care and services, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Encourage personalized resident participation in life enrichment programming.
- Accurately document care and services provided to residents.
- Cross-trained and credentialed to administer medications if needed.
- Participate in group interview process and support new hire onboarding.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
- Report incidents and complete necessary paperwork.
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with care staff, community managers, residents, and family members.
- Medication Management Certificate required.
- Prior experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for them.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies.
