Job SummaryThe CNA in the Float Pool will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and support the maintenance of a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Responsibilities:- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with medication administration
- Support the maintenance of a safe environment by ensuring that patients' rooms are clean and tidy
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
To be considered for this role, you must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, as well as a minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office. You should also possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
BenefitsLa Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $21.00 to $25.18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and tuition reimbursement.
