We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Senior Healthcare Professional on our Step Down Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients who require step-down care after surgery or critical illness. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in step-down care. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the step-down unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure understanding and adherence to care plans

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in step-down care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
