Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Float between all of our Queens locations to provide seamless patient care
  • Measure and record patient vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Prepare patients for examinations, maintaining a calm and respectful environment
  • Sterilize medical equipment and instruments, adhering to strict infection control protocols
  • Collect and process lab specimens, ensuring timely and accurate results
  • Perform phlebotomies (blood draws) with precision and care
  • Record accurate patient information during patient intake, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Assist Providers during visits with examinations and all office procedures, providing exceptional support and care
Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to accept direction and work within a team concept, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish a plus, with proficiency in Word/Excel
  • Monday - Friday shifts with flexible work hours, with the ability to cover other Progressive Urology Division locations for scheduled PTO & callouts
