Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Robotics Instructor to join our team at the University of New Mexico Los Alamos campus. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching online and/or face-to-face Robotics courses at the 100 or 200 level.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Robotics courses at the 100 or 200 level
  • Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments
  • Grade student assignments and provide feedback
  • Meet with students during assigned times and be available for office hours
  • Assess student learning and report progress to the Program Coordinator
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of experience designing and programming robots in industrial settings
  • 5 years of experience teaching the design and programming of robots in an academic setting
  • Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
  • Practical experience programming and working with robotic applications in industry
  • New Mexico residence and availability to teach face-to-face classes in Los Alamos at least once per week
