Job Overview
A typical day as a Loan Processing Support Associate:
Your primary responsibilities will include executing back-office lending tasks such as preparing documentation for retail loans and mortgages, scrutinizing legal papers, facilitating the funding of mortgage transactions, and verifying security registrations.
You will compile and assess lending reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensuring that all assigned lending activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures will be a key part of your role.
Your focus will be on the precise, prompt, and comprehensive processing of retail loan and mortgage documentation, funding, renewals, reporting, and packaging.
You will play a crucial role in the ongoing enhancement of processes related to the registration, maintenance, and preparation of collateral securities, as well as loan processing and funding.
Accurate processing of entries for new and existing commercial, equipment, and retail loans will be essential, alongside managing documentation control and reporting.
What you will contribute:
A post-secondary qualification, such as a diploma in Business or Office Administration, is preferred.
Experience in the financial sector, particularly in lending administration, spanning two to four years is expected.
A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
