About the RoleWe are looking for a School Psychologist with a minimum of 1+ years of experience who can provide comprehensive psychological assessments, develop effective interventions, and support students' overall well-being.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $58,000-$68,000, based on national averages and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Counseling and Assessment: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
- Intervention Development: Interpret assessment results and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop targeted interventions and behavior management strategies.
- Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Communication and Collaboration: Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and ensure students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Education: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Assessment and Intervention Skills: Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Special Education Knowledge: Sound understanding of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Behavioral Intervention Strategies: Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Confidentiality and Ethics: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
