Job Overview

Cosmos Club is seeking a skilled Security team member to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the security of our Club property, reviewing cameras, and monitoring entrances and exits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and monitoring systems to observe and analyze activities in real-time within the Club and around the exterior of the Club's buildings.
  • Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately, contacting Emergency Services as needed.
  • Ensure a safe environment through diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control.
  • Establish and enforce security procedures for protection of members, guests, and employees and their property, recommending additional controls and procedural changes to other departments.
  • Cooperate with area law enforcement agencies in the investigation of crimes, including the exchange of reports and information and by appearance in courts of law.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security position preferred.
  • Experience using Verkada or other monitor software preferred.
  • Ability to read and speak English is required.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Outstanding ability to work effectively in teams of diverse people and organizations.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, communications, computer, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
