MountainView Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team as a PRN (as-needed) employee. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the clinical functions of the Wound Care Center, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations.
- Assess patients' wound care needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with the Outpatient Wound Care & Hyperbaric Director and Medical Director to ensure continuous quality improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee the delivery of patient care services, ensuring that all staff members are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in wound care modalities, including negative pressure wound therapy, skin substitutes, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, as required by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider certification.
- At least two years of experience in advanced wound care, preferably within the past 18 months.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple patients, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
