About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team at Aviator Hotel Anchorage. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to drive revenue growth by building strong relationships with new and existing clients.

You will have a strong understanding of the hotel industry and be able to identify opportunities to increase room revenue and catering revenue. Your expertise in sales and marketing will enable you to develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts;
  • Manage Group and Catering Sales to attract, retain and motivate employees;
  • Recommend and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and catering revenue;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate, business and travel industry accounts;

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a top sales leader in a hotel/hospitality environment;
  • Prior experience in sales and marketing leadership roles overseeing all related functions;
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and web analytics tools;
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
