Exceptional Pediatric Critical Care Opportunity in Kansas

Responsibilities

Our esteemed and well-established pediatric critical care practice is seeking a dedicated specialist interested in a dynamic quality improvement team-based management role.

  • Join an 8-physician team at a leading medical center
  • Provide 24-hour in-house coverage in our advanced Level-III, 60-bed neonatal intensive care unit
  • Participate in approximately 6,000 deliveries annually at the facility
  • Manage intensive and special care units with around 1,000 admissions each year, maintaining an average daily census of 54
  • Offer comprehensive services, excluding ECMO and cardiac surgery
  • Work alongside residents and nurse practitioners for enhanced support
  • Collaborate with the KU School of Medicine - Wichita, which provides extensive quality improvement and research opportunities
