Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physician to become part of our team at our free-standing emergency room. In this role, you will be essential in providing prompt and effective medical attention to patients facing urgent health issues. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess and treat a variety of medical conditions, ranging from minor injuries to critical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and precise medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with acute health issues.
- Execute medical procedures, including suturing, wound management, and fracture care, as necessary.
- Request and interpret diagnostic examinations, such as X-rays, CT scans, and lab tests.
- Engage effectively with patients and their families to ensure clarity regarding their diagnosis, treatment strategies, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Follow established clinical protocols and care standards to uphold patient safety and quality of service.
- Participate in continuous education and training to remain updated on advancements in emergency medicine and best practices.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty (preferred).
- Valid medical license to practice.
- Current DEA registration.
- Strong clinical abilities and the capacity to make swift and accurate decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.
- Dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
