Primary Objective: To safeguard the company’s assets, employees, and clientele across the stores in the Chicago regional market, while implementing the established Asset Protection strategies for our three distinguished brands: Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. This role is primarily based in Chicago, but flexibility for other locations may be considered based on proximity to major markets. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Asset Protection, this position is pivotal in maintaining our security standards.

The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in Asset Protection to:

  • Conduct thorough investigations related to theft, fraud, and policy breaches in collaboration with Senior Leadership, including the Senior Director of Asset Protection.
  • Analyze incident reports generated from retail locations.
  • Examine inventory outcomes for unusual patterns and strive to maintain minimal shrinkage rates.
  • Foster strong partnerships and a problem-solving mindset with multi-unit managers and store teams regarding theft concerns, policy breaches, and inventory inconsistencies, including presenting relevant topics at District meetings.
  • Ensure store management teams are proficient in utilizing CCTV systems to monitor activities and review incidents.
  • Assist in onboarding new field managers, General Managers, and Store Managers regarding best practices in Asset Protection and Loss Prevention policies.
  • Perform unannounced store audits, compile findings, and communicate non-compliance trends to the Region and Districts to enhance awareness and follow-up on necessary improvements.
  • Investigate instances of missing freight and conduct site visits to carriers, reporting findings to Inventory Control, Distribution, and Transportation.
  • Ensure that assigned contract security personnel are of high caliber and fully comprehend their responsibilities.
  • Establish networks with law enforcement agencies and other retailers to discuss and address unusual activities.
  • Review and interpret exception reports and utilize various systems for investigative purposes.
  • Promote awareness of security and safety incident response protocols among store teams, leveraging risk intelligence tools.
The successful candidate will possess:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection with multi-unit/multi-store experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • WZ Interviewing/Interrogation certification.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region up to 75% of the time, including some overnight stays.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Compensation:
BASE PAY RANGE: $80,000.00 TO $105,000.00 Annually
