Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical leadership on research projects, ensuring high-quality data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop proposals and grants, offering expert guidance on statistical methodologies.
  • Supervise junior biostatisticians in data management and the preparation of analytical datasets.
  • Identify and implement appropriate statistical tools and techniques for various research inquiries.
  • Consult with researchers on study design and statistical approaches, ensuring robust analysis.
  • Prepare and present findings in both oral and written formats for academic publications and conferences.
  • Mentor clinical researchers on statistical methodologies and best practices.
  • Address statistical challenges arising from collaborative research efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related discipline with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in a similar field.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or STATA.
  • Expertise in data modeling, descriptive analysis, and graphical representation of data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex statistical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in areas such as statistical methodology, computing, or database design.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this role is between $124,000 and $165,000 annually, reflecting the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
