Overview: The Stanford Blood Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to play a pivotal role in our research initiatives. This position is designed for an individual who can independently design studies, analyze complex datasets, and communicate findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical leadership on research projects, ensuring high-quality data analysis and interpretation.

- Supervise junior biostatisticians in data management and the preparation of analytical datasets.
- Identify and implement appropriate statistical tools and techniques for various research inquiries.
- Consult with researchers on study design and statistical approaches, ensuring robust analysis.
- Prepare and present findings in both oral and written formats for academic publications and conferences.
- Mentor clinical researchers on statistical methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related discipline with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in a similar field.
Essential Skills:

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this role is between $124,000 and $165,000 annually, reflecting the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
