**Job Summary**

Soliant is seeking a qualified and passionate part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and a strong passion for working with students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of occupational therapy needs to ensure students receive the best possible care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to promote progress and success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress to inform future decisions and evaluations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support to ensure students receive the resources they need to succeed.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed to ensure a smooth and effective workflow.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting, with a strong preference for experience working in a school setting as an OT.
  • A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred, but not required.
  • Licensure to practice in Michigan is required.
