Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and inhalers.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patient respiratory function.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
  • At least one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
