The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a skilled Pickleball Instructor to lead routine clinics and create a positive learning environment for our members.

• Design and deliver engaging pickleball classes for members of various skill levels.
• Develop and implement curriculum to promote player progression and skill development.
• Build strong relationships with members and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a safe and organized class environment.
• Assist in tracking program statistics and evaluating class effectiveness.

• At least one year of experience leading group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness components and ability to design safe and effective classes.
• Preferred certifications include Group Exercise or related specialty, YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning, and/or Foundations of Group Exercise.
• Positive attitude, experience working with diverse populations, and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications (preferred).
