Salary Range
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our residents
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that adheres to all regulatory standards
- Manage food costs and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
- Conduct regular taste tests and quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in meal preparation
- Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and inventory
- Supervise and train culinary staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef
- Proven track record of success in managing culinary teams and achieving high-quality results
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Certification in food safety and sanitation
