About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head of Surgical Oncology to lead our growing practice in the Twin Cities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical oncology, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative oversight of physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Work collaboratively with administrative leadership on finance, operations, and strategy
  • Oversee quality of clinical care and coordinate work assignments, distribution, and on-call allocation
  • Attend administrative meetings and staff meetings as required

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program in General Surgery required
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Surgical Oncology fellowship training program required
  • Board certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required
  • Leadership experience required
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $450,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
