We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metrology Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to develop test methods and procedures for complex test equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in electrical test equipment and systems, measurement techniques, and metrology principles.
- Develop and implement calibration methods, processes, and capabilities for complex test equipment and systems.
- Review and analyze technical documents, guides, and manuals for accuracy and adherence to processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve test equipment and systems.
- Identify and analyze measurement uncertainties and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams of engineers.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical test equipment and systems, measurement techniques, and metrology principles.
- Knowledge of RF test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) and a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical test measurement equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of RF test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Expert knowledge of uncertainty budgets.
- Experience with Test Automation such as MET/CAL and/or Labwindows/CVI.
- C/C++ programming.
- GPIB/LAN communication.
- Metrology concepts and practices.
