About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, assess and coordinate patient needs, and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license, with ability to become Arizona licensed within 30 days.
  • 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry, or MSO RN roles.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications, obtained within 90 days.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
