Job Title: Vocational Skills Lecturer

Harper College is seeking a qualified Aviation Instructor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Aviation Instructor will be responsible for developing and planning classroom-based introductory and certification classes that cover various topics related to aviation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation or a related field and experience in teaching or training.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and plan classroom-based introductory and certification classes
  • Teach students about various aviation topics, including airframes, aircraft systems, flight instruments, and more
  • Continuing Professional Education courses will be short-term and completed within one semester
  • Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field, FAA License and/or Certification, and two years of industry experience in aviation or aviation instruction
Requirements:
  • A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process
  • Official transcripts are required upon hire
  • Employment is contingent upon a Criminal Background Check
  • Employment sponsorship is not available
