Material Handler Job Description

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Murrysville, PA. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, transporting, and delivering materials to various departments within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy
  • Pick, pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
  • Pick up finished product and distribute to internal departments
  • Support production associates with various tasks, including moving material and picking material
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders and bills of lading, to route materials
  • Complete reports and other departmental paperwork as assigned
  • Communicate with vendors, internal teams, and drivers to resolve issues
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to perform standard software operations, including SAP
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate a pallet jack
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
