Position Overview

Lee College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach part-time in our Art Studio department. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for art with our students.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach freshman and sophomore-level Art Studio courses, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's goals and objectives, and ensures student learning outcomes are met.
  • Maintain accurate student accounting records and submit required reports to the Admissions & Records Office.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, both in and out of the classroom, to ensure their academic success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of Art Studio programs and services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a Master's degree in the teaching field or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field. Prior online teaching experience and certification are preferred, as well as experience with the Blackboard Learning Management System.
