Nurse Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day nursing activities of our facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive report on patient/resident status from previous shift and evaluate resources in place to meet needs
  • Make physical rounds assessing quality of care and intervene as necessary
  • Supervise charge nurses, aides, and other providers of care in carrying out their responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor to verify patient/resident needs are met and policies and procedures are followed
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Valid registration as an RN in the state of Practice
  • Completion of relevant state Board of Nursing approved
