Role Overview:The Quality Assurance Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring a stable, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce ecosystem. We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals to help shape the future of e-commerce at TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute functionality testing for mobile applications across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases for new features.
- Assist in the implementation of testing tools and collaborate with automation and performance testing teams to enhance internal testing frameworks.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, utilizing various testing tools and frameworks while maintaining and improving automation scripts.
- Monitor defects and manage bug tracking throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Engage in project management, process improvement, and risk evaluation.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized institution, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing test plans, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with common data storage systems, including databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as message queue technologies such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
- Strong command of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang, Java, C++).
- Experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with API automation testing and familiarity with various automation frameworks.
- Ability to programmatically test products, assess test coverage, develop effective automation solutions, and advocate for software QA best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
