Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Jefferson Parish, LA. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, and waxing floors
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies as needed
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
  • Assist with special events and projects, as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Valid driver's license preferred
