Position Overview:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing protocols and statistical control measures to ensure compliance with quality standards across all manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute analyses, inspections, designs, tests, and integrations to guarantee the quality of assigned products or components.
- Develop and implement sampling techniques, control charts, Pareto diagrams, and other statistical process control (SPC) tools to facilitate problem-solving.
- Conduct internal audits of quality systems, including product quality and laboratory procedures, and present findings to management.
- Issue Corrective Action Requests and follow up to ensure effective solutions are implemented to prevent recurrence of issues.
Data Analysis:
- Utilize SPC methods to analyze data and assess current processes and changes.
- Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation to ensure compliance with quality manuals and company records.
Data Management:
- Accumulate, organize, and implement all data generated through process control techniques or laboratory analyses.
- Conduct on-site analyses and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance
- Familiarity with ISO TS16949, ISO 9001 standards, and Quality Management Systems, with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, data analysis, GD&T, and blueprint reading skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities, along with proven leadership and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production methods, and modern quality assurance applications.
