Renal Care RN Clinical Leader

In this essential Registered Nurse position, you will have the chance to shine as a premier dialysis nurse, guide and clinical authority, making a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families facing end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 6 months of dialysis experience is mandatory.
  • Oversee ESRD patient care and services (monitor lab values, track vital signs, manage outcomes, etc.)
  • Ensure that you and your clinical team provide the highest standard of care to our patients by prioritizing their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
  • Training may occur in a facility or an alternative training location.
  • Potential to rotate among various facilities during and after training.
  • A flexible schedule is required, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Provide care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, necessitating unique treatment plans and the ability to utilize a wide range of nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise a group of patients with the assistance of Patient Care Technicians to conduct patient assessments, monitor statistics, and set up equipment.
  • Engage your intellect, compassion, and skills daily in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • At least 18 months of nursing experience.
  • Approval for Dialysis Charge RN readiness by the clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA is required.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is preferred.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited nursing school is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) is preferred; a three-year diploma from an accredited program may substitute for a nursing degree.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Completion of training approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred; willingness, desire, and ability to supervise are required.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook are required.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test is required; accommodations may be provided.
