Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join one of our esteemed school districts in Fryeburg, ME. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention services to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Utilize your knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies to support student success.
  • Child Development Expertise: Apply your understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and administrators, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team while also being able to work independently.
  • Cultural Competence: Provide equitable services and demonstrate commitment to cultural competence.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Must hold valid School Psychologist Licensure in Maine.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a drug and background check.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
