Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant to join our team. As a Hygiene Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced hygienists to provide high-quality patient care and support the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during a wide variety of procedures.
  • Assist with setting up rooms for hygiene visits, including stocking and restocking instruments and supplies.
  • Utilize our practice management system for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Partner with providers and team members to follow office systems and maximize office workflow.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • Physical ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
