EMT-Paramedic

Job Summary:

The Bay Mills Indian Community is seeking a highly skilled EMT-Paramedic to join our team. As a critical member of our emergency medical services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

• Current EMT-Paramedic licensure in the State of Michigan
• ACLS/PALS certification
• Valid Michigan driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment, often in challenging weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move patients and equipment as needed, and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
